6 people killed, 12 injured in road mishap

Mathura (U.P.), Jan 09 (ANI): At least six people were killed and 12 others were injured in a road accident in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura. The mishap occurred at Sureer Kotwali area on Monday night after tractor and a pick-up truck collided with each other. Those injured were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where one woman died during treatment. The pick-up driver was severely injured in the accident while tractor driver fled leaving his vehicle behind. An investigation is underway.
