The Krishna Nagar Assembly constituency in NCT of Delhi is currently held by S K Bagga (Advocate) of the AAP. In the 2020 Assembly election held in Delhi S K Bagga (Advocate) defeated his nearest rival Anil Goyal of the BJP by 3995 votes, polling 49.1 of the votes cast in the constituency.
In the 2020 Delhi Assembly election, Krishna Nagar saw a voter turnout of 67.31 per cent — that is, 146855 of the 218177 registered voters here exercised their right to franchise. S K Bagga (Advocate) received 72111 votes, compared with 68116 votes polled by Anil Goyal. On the third position was Ashok Kumar Walia of the Congress, who secured only 5079 votes to have a vote share of just 3.46 per cent.
In the previous Delhi Assembly election, held in 2015, S K Bagga Advocate of the AAP had won the Krishna Nagar seat by defeating Kiran Bedi of the BJP by 2277 votes.
