The Rohini Assembly constituency in NCT of Delhi is currently held by Vijender Gupta of the BJP. In the 2020 Assembly election held in Delhi Vijender Gupta defeated his nearest rival Rajesh Nama Bansiwala of the AAP by 12648 votes, polling 53.67 of the votes cast in the constituency.
In the 2020 Delhi Assembly election, Rohini saw a voter turnout of 63.02 per cent — that is, 115840 of the 183815 registered voters here exercised their right to franchise. Vijender Gupta received 62174 votes, compared with 49526 votes polled by Rajesh Nama Bansiwala. On the third position was Sumesh Gupta of the Congress, who secured only 1963 votes to have a vote share of just 1.69 per cent.
In the previous Delhi Assembly election, held in 2015, Vijender Gupta of the BJP had won the Rohini seat by defeating C L Gupta Advocate of the AAP by 5367 votes.
