IPL 2020 Points Table
INDIAN PREMIER LEAGUE 2020 POINTS TABLE
The 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020) is slated to start from March 29, 2020, with the eight franchises locking horns for the title.
Each of the eight teams in IPL 2020 — Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Delhi Capitals (DC), Mumbai Indians (MI), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) — will play one home and one away match against every other IPL team.
A total of 56 round-robin matches will be played at the league stage, and then the top four teams of IPL 2020 will proceed to the Qualifiers.
A team gets 2 points for winning a match, while the loser gets no point. If the match is abandoned, both teams get one point each. If two teams have the same number of points at the end of the round-robbins stage, their positions on the IPL points table 2020 will be decided on the basis of Net Run rate (NRR). The NRR in any match is the average number of runs a team scores per over, minus the average number of runs scored against it per over.
