Pli Scheme
The government's Production Linked Incentive Scheme (PLI) for large-scale electronics manufacturing is meant to provide incentives to producers, in a bid to make India a hub for manufacturing and exports. Under the PLI scheme, eligible players are to receive incentives ranging from 4 per cent to 6 per cent of production value for five years, provided they achieve their investment and production value target for each year.
