Sunil Narine is a Trinidadian cricket, who plays international cricket for Windies. He is a right arm off-spinner bowler and an aggressive left-handed batsman. Narine currently plays for Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League, Dhaka Dynamites in the Bangladesh Premier League, Trinbago Knight Riders in the Caribbean Premier League and Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League. Narine is the all-time leading wicket taker in Champions League T20 history with 39 scalps. Narine has the reputation of a "mystery bowler", due to the variations that he has on his off breaks, and how he disguises them
ODI career
Sunil Narine made his One Day International (ODI) debut against India at Sardar Vallabhai Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad on December 5, 2011. In his debut match, he took 2 wicket giving away only 34 runs in his quota of 10 overs and helped his team Windies to win the match by 16 runs. Overall, in 65 matches, he scalped 92 wickets at an average of 26.47 and economy rate of 4.13. His best bowling figures is 6 for 27, including 2 five-wickets haul
IPL career
He made his Indian Premier League (IPL) debut against Rajasthan Royals while playing for Kolkata knight Riders (KKR) at Sawai Mann Singh Stadium in Jaipur on April 8, 2012. He has 112 wickets by his name in 99 matches at an average of 22.56 and economy rate of 6.56. In 2017 IPL, he amassed fastest IPL fifty against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), a record later broken by K L Rahul during 2018 IPL. Overall, in the 110 matches played so far, he has accumulated 771 runs at an average of 17.52 and strike rate of 168.34. As a bowler, he has picked up 122 wickets at an average of 23.31 and an economy rate of 6.67.
T20I career
He made T20 International debut against Australia at Darren Sammy National Stadium on March 27, 2012. In 48 matches, he took 50 wickets at an average of 20.68 and economy rate of 6.02. His best bowling figures is 4-12. He played his last T20 match against England at Riverside ground in Chester-le-Street on September 2017.
Test career
Narine made his Test debut against England at Edgbaston in Birmingham on June 7, 2012. In 7 test matches, he took 21 wickets at an average of 40.52, including two five-wickets haul.
