Team, a passionate founder, technology, and more – what does it take to get Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin’s attention? At the end of the day, if you’re not willing to crawl through glass to get your business to be successful, you shouldn’t be doing it, says Saverin.

Here are extracts of the man's thoughts taken from a video:

I look first and foremost at the team and people.

Then you look at technology and product, market, recurring revenue growth and the sustainability of the revenue. and how it can be helpful.

One thing I would say from a team and people perspective is that it's critically important that the entrepreneur has a real passion for what they are doing. It's a very difficult job to start a business. If you're not willing to crawl through glass to get your business to be successful to its ultimate mission you shouldn't be doing it. So passion is the key, and it's important through that passion that you're armed with the ability to listen. Listen to your customers, iterate and evolve as you fail, get back up and adapt.
