Teleperformance in India recognized as a 2018 Global Aon best employer

Teleperformance, the worldwide leader in omnichannel customer experience management, today announces that its 13,300+ people strong India subsidiary has been recognized as a Global Aon Best Employer 2018.

This fifth year recognition from Aon comes after a robust evaluation based on the principles of 'Intent-Design-Experience' to identify the Best Employers across the globe. Aon emphasizes that all three factors are equally important and in alignment to create a real competitive advantage through people.

Aon is a leading global professional services firm providing a broad range of risk, retirement and health solutions. Its Best Employers program measures and recognizes employer excellence worldwide. In 2018, over 1,000+ organisations with nearly 14 million employee responses participated in the Aon's Best Employer study.

"It's an honor to be recognized as Global Best Employers yet again by Aon as a #NextGenOrg which is consistently agile. This is the 5th Aon recognition for us consistently since 2014, which strongly validates our People focus where Each Interaction Matters." shares Sanjay Mehta, Managing Director, Teleperformance India. He further adds, "I am proud to be on this team of amazing people who embrace and act with goodness first, living by strong values of helping the weakest links to win as a team and that's why they shine above all. It's a very unique culture. I want to thank you all Teleperformers for making us the best BPO to work for in India."

With almost 20 years of experience in best employer studies across the world, and backed by more than 40 years of experience in employee research, the Aon Best Employers program compares organizations to identify those that strive to create a competitive advantage through their people and become employers of choice.

To achieve global recognition through the Aon Best Employers program, Teleperformance in India was assessed on four measures:

Engagement Index: Teleperformance in India employees speak positively about their employer, intend to stay and are motivated by their employment experience to do their best work every day.

Leadership Index: Teleperformance in India leaders clearly define the vision for the future, recognize employees' critical importance and lead them to success.

Performance Culture Index: Teleperformance in India employees are aligned to company goals and are rewarded and recognized for their contributions.

Employer Brand Index: Teleperformance in India employees are proud of the company they work for and know what makes it distinctive as a place to work.

Teleperformance in India's key differentiator is its #PeopleSmart culture driven by the 5Ps including People, Passion, Purpose, Pride (Inspiration) that feeds into the output of Performance, leading to consistently positive employee and customer interactions. It offers several unique employee programs operated globally by Teleperformance Group, including: Teleperformance University, a customized college course that relays culture while exchanging worldwide best practices in customer relationship and experience management; and JUMP, a development program created to identify and prepare high-potential employees to take on leadership positions in the company. Our people are associated with client and Teleperformance values to deliver consistently high engagement for each interaction. #EachInteractionMatters

"We are seeing an increasing amount of change in the world - socio-political change, competitive disruption, technology advancement, and changing talent expectations - which is impacting on organisations, and particularly employees within organisations. This is creating a sense of urgency for organisations in thinking about how they respond to these changes to attract, engage and retain key talent. Critically, the impact on employees is uneven depending on how organisations respond, with high performing organisations - those with the strongest employee engagement - really focusing their efforts on creating an agile mind-set and working environment, led by engaging leaders, who have a magical focus on their talent. We are delighted to again to recognise Teleperformance India as one of Aon's Best Employers and, given the tremendous amount of change in the world, it is all the more remarkable that Teleperformance India has retained its Best Employers status every year since 2014, and speaks to the efforts of Teleperformance India in creating and sustaining a culture of engagement." said Jake Outram, Principle Consultant, Aon.
