A child was killed and two others injured in an accidental blast in Madhya Pradesh's Ratlam district on Tuesday, police said.
The accident occurred in Lal Kheda village when the children, while playing near a well that was being excavated, fiddled with a detonator lying there, Jaora station in-charge D.K. Dubey told IANS.
One of the children connected the detonator to a wire, thus triggering the blast in which five-year-old Anil died on the spot. Anil's elder brother Balram and cousin Lakhan were injured and are undergoing treatment at a hospital.
