Arvind Kejriwal swearing-in live updates: Arvind Kejriwal, whose party stormed to power in Delhi took oath as Chief Minister of Delhi for the third term at Ramlila Maidan on Sunday. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) stormed to power by winning 62 of 70 seats. Along with Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Satyendra jain, Gopal Rai, Kailash Gehlot, Imran Hussain, Rajendra Gautam also took oath as Cabinet ministers. 

AAP held on to the nearly 54 per cent votes it had got in the 2015 Delhi Assembly polls, while the BJP improved its tally with 38.51 per cent votes. The Congress party, which ruled Delhi for 15 years before being voted out in 2013, drew a blank.

"This is a win for Mother India," Kejriwal told his supporters after the verdict on February 11. he is likely to retain the Cabinet from 2015 with manish Sisodia his deputy and the Education Minister.

Want to work with Centre for smooth governance of Delhi: Kejriwal

Arvind Kejriwal, who took oath as Delhi chief minister for the third successive time on Sunday, said he wants to work in coordination with the Centre and also sought Prime Minister Narendra Modi's blessings for smooth governance of the national capital. Kejriwal said as the elections are over, the politics is also over and he has "forgiven" his opponents for the remarks they made during the poll campaign. Referring himself as Delhi's "son", he said this is not his victory but of every single Delhiite.
"We want to seek Prime Minister Narendra Modi's blessing for smooth governance of Delhi," Kejriwal said in his address at the Ramlila Maidan here after taking oath. In his earlier tenure, the AAP supremo had several run-ins with the Centre.

Kejriwal 3.0: Satyendra Jain takes oath as Delhi minister

Senior AAP leader Satyendra Jain on Sunday took oath as a minister in the new Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government. Jain, who was re-elected as the Shakur Basti MLA in the February 8 polls, served as the health minister in the previous AAP government. He is likely to retain his portfolio. During his previous stint, mohalla clinic expansion and augmentation of facilities at hospital were his top priorities.

Taking to Twitter on Sunday morning, Kejriwal urged Delhiites to attend his oath-taking ceremony to bless "their son". Besides the AAP chief, his cabinet colleagues - Manish Sisodia, Gopal Rai, Satyendar Jain, Kailash Gahlot, Imran Hussain and Rajendra Pal Gautam will also take oath.
