Odisha Assembly to begin from February 4

The 15th session of the Odisha Assembly will begin from February 4 and continue till February 12, an official release said on Tuesday.

Keeping in view the upcoming state assembly and the Lok Sabha elections this year, the state government will present the vote-on-account instead of a full-fledged Budget on February 7.

The Appropriation Bill would be tabled in the House on February 8, the release said.

The House will have a discussion on Private Member Bills on the last day of the session, which will have seven working days.

There will be two government holidays on February 9 and 10, it said.
