-China trade truce arrives soon and hopes are high that some kind of trade deal -- reportedly being sketched out by the two sides -- is reached by then. If not, markets hope the deadline will be postponed. The alternative? A significant trade war escalation, with Washington slapping 25 percent tariffs on $200 billion worth of Chinese.
