In its last T20 bilateral series, India cricket team whitewashed New Zealand 5-0 early this year. Meanwhile, India will not be able to field its winning playing 11 from the third ODI since Shubman Gill, Shardul Thakur and Kuldeep Yadav are not part of India T20 squad.
