Apple California Streaming event: American technology giant Apple Inc on September 14 announced the iPhones 13 series. Like the iPhone 12 series, the iPhone 13 series brings four models – two regular and two in Pro line. Besides the iPhone 13 series, Apple announced the Watch Series 7, iPad 2021, and iPad mini 2021 at the ‘California Streaming’ event on September 14. iPhone 13 and AirPods 3 details leak ahead of launch

The details come straight from Ming-Chi Kuo, a renowned Apple analyst who is known for tipping details on the company's upcoming products before they are revealed. On the iPhone front, Kuo predicts three storage options for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini: 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB. The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Max will reportedly be available with four storage options; the same three mentioned above, plus a new 1 TB model that's a first for iPhones. There is also some news coming on the AirPods front, with Kuo suggesting that Tuesday event will bring our first look at the AirPods 3. These apparently won't replace the AirPods 2. Instead, they will either arrive at a higher price than the earlier model, which retails for $159, or they will prompt a price drop for the AirPods 2. Like the iPhone 13 series, the Watch Series 7 will get a new chip – Apple S7. Apple continues to add health-centric features to its smart watch series, and the Watch Series 7 is expected to bring a ton load of new health and fitness features.

Powering the next-generation iPhones would be a new chip – Apple A15. The new chip is expected to have integrated support for satellite connectivity, which would be one of the significant additions to the iPhone 13 series.

What to expect: iPhone 13 series camera

Imaging is expected to get incremental upgrade – mostly on the software side. The Apple iPhone 13 series is expected to get same number of cameras, but with better optics and sensors. On the software side, it is likely that Apple will bring its Portrait mode feature to videos.
