Apple event: iPhone 10S, 10S Max, XR announced, to come to India on Sep 28

Cupertino, US-based technology giant Apple on September 12 announced the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR, along with the Apple Watch Series 4. The iPhone XS features a 5.8-inch OLED HDR screen, similar to the iPhone X. The iPhone XS Max also features an OLED HDR screen, but of 6.5-inch size. The iPhone XR features a 6.1-inch LCD screen.

The big announcements at Apple event would be about the watch and the airpods. What is gathered from recent leaks and rumours about the upcoming iPhones hint at incremental upgrades with respect to screen size, processor, storage, colours and camera.
The upcoming Apple Watch Series 4 is also reported to get a bigger screen. It would also get GPS and GPS + Cellular support. Unlike previous generation Watches, the Series 4 Watch would have 40mm and 44mm size. As for the colour, the Watch is reported to get Silver, Space Gray and Gold options.
According to some reports, the next generation Apple iPhones would have dual-SIM card support. If true, this would be the first for an iPhone model.
The ATH leak also seems to confirm storage and colour variants of the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR.

According to the information taken from purported XML sitemap, the iPhone XS would have a 5.8-inch OLED screen, whereas the iPhone XS Max would have a 6.5-inch OLED screen. Both the smartphones would get 64GB, 256GB and 512GB internal storage variants and would be available in Silver, Black and Gold colour options.

The iPhone XR, on the other hand, would have a 6.1-inch LCD screen. It would get 64GB and 256GB internal storage variants and would be available in Black, White, Red, Yellow, Blue, and Coral.

In a last-minute leak, people at ATH claimed to have unearthened the names of Apple's newest iPhones from the XML sitemap on According to the leak, the iPhone 2018 range of smartphones would be named the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and the iPhone XR.

This seems to confirms that the previously purported iPhone XS Plus and iPhone 9 would be called the the iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR, respectively.
