Business conglomerate Godrej Industries Ltd on Tuesday reported an 81 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 322.49 crore for the April-June quarter of 2024, on higher income.
Its net profit stood at Rs 178.06 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income increased to Rs 5,259.41 crore in the April-June period of 2024-25 fiscal, from Rs 4,893.40 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, according to a regulatory filing.

On business performance of its subsidiaries, joint ventures and associate companies, Godrej Industries said the consolidated sales of Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL) stood at Rs 3,311 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal.
Godrej Properties' total Income grew to Rs 1,638 crore in April-June period of this fiscal, from Rs 1,315 crore in the year-ago period.

Patel Engineering Ltd on Tuesday reported a 25.81 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 48.17 crore in the April-June quarter of 2024.
It had posted a Rs 38.29 crore net profit from operations during the year-ago period, the company said in an exchange filing.
The company's revenue from operations declined by 1.52 per cent to Rs 1,101.66 crore in the June quarter.
It was at Rs 1,118.61 crore in the year-ago period.
Patel Engineering's Managing Director Kavita Shirvaikar said, "Our focus remains on delivering long-term value for our stakeholders while continuously enhancing operational efficiency and output."

The Mumbai-based engineering, procurement, and construction firm has a strong presence in tunnels and underground works for hydroelectric and dam projects.

Chennai-based real estate firm DRA Group has signed a pact with Philippines-based Balajadia Family office to jointly develop a commercial project with an estimated investment of USD 100 million.
In a statement, DRA Group said it has entered into a strategic cross-border partnership with Balajadia Family office, global investors and entrepreneurs from the Philippines.
"The collaboration, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), will see the joint development of 1 million square feet of Grade-A commercial and retail space in India under Phase 1, with an estimated investment value of USD 100 million," the statement said.
The MoU was signed at the Philippines-India Business Forum in Bengaluru.
This equal joint venture will be executed through a special purpose vehicle (SPV) platform.
"The collaboration allows us to combine local expertise with global capital to drive sustainable real estate growth," Ranjeeth Rathod, Managing Director of DRA, said.

Realty firm Signature Global Ltd is targeting a 92 per cent increase in revenue from operations during this fiscal year on the back of strong sales in its residential projects across Gurugram.
In a latest investors presentation, the company said it is targeting a revenue of Rs 4,800 crore during this financial year.
Signature Global's income from operations stood at Rs 2,498.02 crore in the 2024-25 fiscal.
On revenue, the company said it has "achieved around 19 per cent of guidance. Momentum is expected to pick up in subsequent quarters driven by completion of construction as planned".
In the real estate sector, the companies can recognise revenues either on completion of their projects or on percentage of completion method.
Signature Global achieved record sales bookings of Rs 10,290 crore during the 2024-25 and has given a guidance of Rs 12,500 crore for the current financial year.

India's biggest realty firm DLF Ltd will invest Rs 23,500 crore to complete its residential projects that have already been launched across Delhi-NCR and Mumbai.
According to an investor's presentation, the "total pending cost" to complete all launched projects is estimated at Rs 23,500 crore.
To meet its pending construction spend, DLF mentioned that the company has a cash balance of Rs 10,429 crore, of which Rs 7,782 crore is parked in the escrow account of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA).
